Our drive for academic excellence is two-fold: we ask that anyone entering the organization already believe in the tenet of academic excellence and we strive to foster academic excellence in our sisters and our surrounding universities and communities.

One of the goals of our T.I.A.R.A. interest group is to allow interested ladies the time necessary to raise their GPAs before beginning the orientation process for MSU. But it doesn’t end there…we do require all our sisters to maintain a reasonable grade point average to ensure academic excellence and to work towards the ultimate goal of graduating with a bachelor’s degree from their college or university.

Our chapters offer a number of academic and educational programs such as study groups and workshops on academic management. Sisters also participate in after-school and tutoring programs to foster academic excellence in students in the surrounding community.
